Upstream at 30

Bringing together both the founders of Upstream and the flourishing creative music descendants keeping the Halifax scene healthy, a convening of the Upstream Orchestra will mark the 30th Anniversary of the founding of Halifax’s  remarkable ensemble and organization dedicated to new and improvised music. Upstream’s 30 year flow of creative music has contributed to music culture of today, so please join us in marking this significant anniversary with  an event at the original location Saint Mary’s University Art Gallery,, almost exactly 30 years after their debut event.
