Join us on Saturday, July 7 for a fun-filled evening of live flamenco entertainment.

Flamenco fans will get their fix at this fun-filled night featuring solo performances by Maria Osende, Audrey Barber and new pieces by For the Love of Flamenco group dancers: Janice Godin, Jody Holm, Kiriam Thompson, Linda Palmer, Marina Roussakova and Ruth Pacis. 

Never been to a flamenco show? Over the last few years, the Flamenco Nights performances at The Seahorse Tavern (2037 Gottingen St.), presented by Maria Osende Flamenco Co., have brought the heat and passion of Spain to downtown Halifax.

Flamenco Fiesta is your chance to see this powerful dance form, featuring live music by Bob Sutherby (guitar), Joyce Saunders and Lisa Myers (vocals), come to life on stage. 

Want to learn a few flamenco steps and rhythms? At Flamenco Fiestayou’ll also get a glimpse at what you can learn at Halifax’s Flamenco Dance School Maria Osende where dancer Maria Osende inspires everyone with the intensity, beauty and passion of flamenco dance.

Doors open: 6.30pm for tapas and drinks
Show: 7pm-9pm
Tickets: $12 advanced, $15 at the door the night of the event starting at 6.30pm.
General admission no assigned seating, first come first serve.  Cabaret set up (tables or individual seating available as well as standing options). Please beware that the venue manager will decide on the capacity for the evening and that a ticket does not guarantee a seat at this venue, especially when pre-sales sell out. If tickets are sold out online, it is likely you will be able to get a ticket at the door but visibility might be limited and it might be a standing one.
