CO2 - Cycle de Lieder - May 5th

CO² – Cycle de Lieder is a collaboration between internationally recognized composers Patrick Defossez and Anne-Gabriel Debaecker based on a libretto by famed French sci-fi writer Jean-Bernard Pouy. CO² is performed  by French Duo Autres Voix de Piano, French Ensemble Zellig and and Canadian new music diva Janice Isabel Jackson and represents the “solitary” journey of a female voice on the verge of a metamorphosis, the virtual (and therefore digital) molting of her being into two opposing forces: that of flesh and that of data.
