Vocalypse presents Cyborg Song at OWF '18

Vocalypse Productions presents Cyborg Song, an international collaboration between Janice I Jackson, soprano and composer, instrumentalists Etienne Rolin (France) and Dirk Stromberg (Singapore).  This concert will feature Rolin’s mini opera, Cyborg Song for soprano, bass clarinet, double bass, and a new instrument called the phallophone which follows the existential dilemma facing a singer who is half human, half cyborg.  Also featured on the program is time:space: conceived and created in Singapore by Dirk Stromberg and Robert Casteels.  This substantial collaborative work for voice, live processing, tape, video, new electronic instruments and ensemble, accompanies captivating scenes from nature to Singapore's metropolis, crossing time and space.
