Workshirt Opera Presents

ORLANDO
By Virginia Woolf
Adapted by Sarah Ruhl

Meet Virginia Woolf's Orlando, your typical Elizabethan Man: a favourite of the Queen, madly in love with a Russian Princess, fleeing an Archduchess, and waking up one fine day in Constantinople to find he has become a woman.

Orlando is a fantastical play that navigates issues of identity and love through the eyes of its titular character. Follow Orlando from the 16th century to the present day as they navigate the life of a questing artist first as a man, then a woman.

Featuring:
Colleen MacIsaac as Orlando
Clare Waque as Sasha
Dan Bray, Jake Willett, and Garry Williams as the Chorus

Directed by Michael Lake
Stage Management by Chelsea Dickie
Choreography by Ryanne Chisholm
Lighting Design by Clare Waque and Johnny Cann
Music by Ross Unger
